The percentage changes because the total percentage is 100% and each time someone votes for a contestant 100% is shared by everyone.
So if you are the contestant that has been voted for, even if you have only one vote, you will have 100% votes.
If another contestant has one vote, your percentage vote drops to 50% and the new contestant also has 50% votes.
Note that your number of votes remain constant and increasing as you get more votes
